Music Producer Danja Purchases Hollywood Hills Home for $3.2M

Floyd Nathanial Hills, widely known as record producer and songwriter Danja, has acquired a new residence in Los Angeles, where he can proudly display the two Grammys he received in 2007 and 2008 for his contributions to Justin Timberlake’s album “Future Տеx/Love Sounds.”

According to tax records, the renowned pop music maestro, who initially rose to prominence as a co-producer for Timbaland and has collaborated with a plethora of chart-topping superstars including Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Madonna, Pink, and Ciara, has invested $3.25 million in a contemporary home located in the historic and celebrity-filled Outpost Estates neighborhood, nestled in the hills above Hollywood.

Situated behind electronic gates and positioned on an elevated plateau, the extensively renovated two-story residence rеmɑins inconspicuous from the street, surrounded by mature trees. Spanning 2,725 square feet, the home features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and sleek open-plan living spaces designed for both relaxation and entertainment.

A small entry vestibule leads to an expansive combined living and dining room that spans the entire width of the house. The living room, adorned with a fireplace, can be transformed into a screening room with 5.1 surround sound, thanks to a projector and screen that descend from the ceiling with the touch of a button. The dining area seamlessly connects to a spacious all-black kitchen, boasting African granite countertops, high-end appliances, and a walk-in pantry.

On the main floor, a bedroom that doubles as an office includes an attached bathroom, while the primary suite on the second floor offers a vaulted and beamed ceiling, a private balcony, a windowed walk-in closet, and a spa-style bathroom with a soaking tub and a steam shower.

Expansive wood-trimmed glass panels in both the living room and kitchen can be folded open, blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces. Adjacent to the kitchen, a large deck, nestled into the steep hillside, features a water feature and ample space for sunbathing. The faux-grassed yard, enveloped by the rustling leaves of mature trees and foliage, includes a trellis-shaded dining patio and a built-in bar and grill.

The property was listed by Joe Babajian and Xander Tarigo at Rodeo Realty, while Danja was represented by Justin Paul Huchel at Carolwood Estates in the transaction.
