Revealing a few new images of Anthony Davis’s mansion at an unbelievable price
Reportedly, Los Angeles Lakers player Anthony Davis has bought a colossal mansion in the coveted Bel Air Crest community for a staggering $31 million.
The house, which was never on the market, boasts 20,000 square feet of living space, eight bedrooms, 9.5 bathrooms, and a 120-foot pool, along with a full-size tennis court and a poolside cabana. It sits on a 3.5-acre promontory, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island.
The property was previously owned by retired semiconductor executive Ted Foxman, who purchased it in 2016 for $10 million and spent a significant amount of money on renovations. Foxman added vibrant pops of color to the interior and a vintage Porsche 356 painted in aqua in the living room.
The mansion features a double-height foyer topped with a giant dome, giving it a solarium feel. Additionally, it has ample public spaces that connect to more intimate rooms, including a music room, games room, wine cellar, and movie theater.
Despite its size, the mansion’s focal point is not the building itself but rather the stunning view and Olympic-worthy pool. The estate is situated in Bel Air Crest, a guard-gated community well-known for its luxury homes and celebrity residents, including Gordon Ramsay, Kathy Griffin, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who lived in the neighborhood while their Hidden Hills mega-compound was under construction.
Davis’s latest acquisition follows the sale of his Westlake Village estate, which he sold for a loss of $1 million. He purchased the property in 2018 for $7.5 million and sold it in 2020. With his recent $190 million contract with the Lakers, Davis has evidently reinvested a substantial portion of his earnings into his new home.
