Drake gave up the famous YOLO apartment in LA as soon as he bought Robbie Williams’ mansion

Canadian music sensation Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham has made a tidy sum of US$22.3m (A$32.9m) from the sale of his three-house Hidden Hills compound in Los Angeles. The musician sold two of the houses for a combined price of $11m (A$16.2m) to Matthew Stafford, quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, three months after listing them on the market.

The final property, known as the YOLO Estate, a 1485 sqm Tudor-style house, was sold for $11.3m (A$16.7m) to a high-profile lawyer after being listed for $14.8m, which was reduced by more than $3m.

It is believed that Drake sold the Hidden Hills properties in preparation for settling in his newly purchased Beverly Hills estate, which boasts its own elevator, wine cellar, gym and game room.

YOLO Estate

The last property of Drake’s Hidden Hills compound to be sold was actually the first one he purchased in 2012 for $7.7 million. The resort-style house, dubbed the ‘YOLO Estate’, underwent a complete renovation by its previous owners, featuring a large swimming pool, a spa grotto, a swim-up bar, waterfalls, and a rock water-slide.

The property includes an English Tudor-style house with various amenities such as a 25-seat theatre, game room, massage room, and wine cellar. The house has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, with the primary bedroom suite covering a spacious 185 sqm area, complete with large bathtubs and multiple vanities. The house also features coffered and beamed ceilings and six fireplaces throughout.
