‘Sopranos’ Star Drea de Matteo Reduces Price of Her Laurel Canyon Home to $3.6M

Actress Drea de Matteo, known for her role as Adriana on HBO’s crime drɑmɑ “The Sopranos,” has recently lowered the price of her Los Angeles home.

According to a report from Dirt, de Matteo initially listed the property for nearly $4 million last summer. However, since it didn’t find a buyer, it’s now back on the market with a reduced price of $3.6 million.

Despite the price cut, de Matteo is still expected to make a profit from the sale. She purchased the house in 2004 for a little over $2 million.

The century-old Laurel Canyon home features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, spread across 3,400 square feet. It has a rich history as a popular party destination for various celebrities, including actress Mary Astor, rocker David Bowie, and musician Denny Doherty from The Mamas and the Papas.

Built in 1926, the Hollywood Hills Spanish turret home exudes old-world charm, with unique tile work in the kitchen and bathrooms, intricate wrought-iron details, and exposed beams. Positioned above the Sunset Sтгip, the location offers privacy and breathtaking views of the ocean, Santa Monica mountains, and the lights of Los Angeles.

The living room is anchored by a grand fireplace and boasts a vaulted barrel ceiling. There’s a spacious dining room for entertaining guests, as well as an eat-in kitchen for more intimate gatherings. The primary bedroom, located in the turret, features a balcony, walk-in dressing room, and exquisite tile work in the bathroom.

Outside, the property showcases more tile work on the stairs leading to the patio, covered wood deck, pool, and spa. The listing includes two two-car detached garages, with one potentially convertible into a guest living space.

Drea de Matteo, an Emmy-winning actress, is currently starring in the Amazon Prime musical drɑmɑ “Paradise City.” Additionally, she co-hosts a podcast called “Made Wоme𝚗,” which delves deep into each episode of “The Sopranos.”
