Rapper Future, known as Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, is certainly living the good life these days. This Atlanta-born hip-hop artist, who was recently hailed as the “Best Rapper Alive” in a GQ article, has been making some significant moves in both his career and real estate portfolio. In September, he struck a deal worth “high eight figures” by transferring the rights to more than 600 titles in his publishing catalog to the investment firm Influence Media Partners. Additionally, he’s set to collaborate with Rihanna on the upcoming soundtrack for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
Future’s real estate ventures are also making headlines. According to The Real Deal, he recently acquired a luxurious mansion on Miami Beach’s exclusive Allison Island, overlooking the water, from French insurance CEO Laurent Ouazana and his wife Pascale for a hefty $16.3 million. The Ouazanas had purchаsed the property in 2020 for $12.5 million, which included an adjacent parcel that has since been sold to developers. Despite a substantial discount of $3.6 million off the original listing price, the new price tag still represents a significant increase from the original purchаse.
Future’s futuristic mansion was built in 2020 and is situated on a gated quarter-acre property. This impressive property boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and nearly 8,000 square feet of living space characterized by high ceilings, walls of glass, and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Among its elegant features are an elevator, rooftop terrace, guesthouse, staff accommodations, and a spacious three-car garage.
The interior of the mansion offers a spacious great room with living and dining areas, along with a well-appointed kitchen featuring custom Ornare cabinetry, a large eat-in island, and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, the luxurious master suite includes a sitting area with a wet bar and wine refrigerator, an expansive balcony, dual walk-in closets, and a lavish bathroom with dual vanities, a substantial glass-enclosed shower, and a freestanding soaking tub.
Outside, the resort-like grounds are a paradise with an infinity-edge pool and a raised spa, complemented by an open-air pavilion equipped with a kitchen. There’s also an abundance of space for lounging and entertaining. Furthermore, the property has a private dock with 75 feet of water frontage, providing ample space for mooring a luxury yacht.
Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman handled the listing, while Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp LLC represented the client. Future’s latest real estate acquisition is undoubtedly a testament to his success and his desire to enjoy the finer things in life.
