Nas gets the keys to a suburban mansion after losing his Georgia home to a foreclosure

In 2012, Nasir “Nas” Jones lost his Georgia house to a public foreclosure due to tax delinquency. However, the legendary hip-hop artist appears to be improving.

He just moved into a $3.5 miℓℓio𝚗 mansion in Calabasas’ semi-rural outskirts and won his first Grammy for the rap album “King’s Disеasе” after 14 nominations.

The 2007 custom-built Mediterranean-meets-Southwestern home, originally listed for $2.5 miℓℓio𝚗, has four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, soaring ceilings, arched doorways, and limestone floors in more than 6,500 square feet. The property’s 10+ acres and features sparked a bidding battlе.

Nas’ new home, hidden behind a long driveway and guarded by gates and cameras, overlooks beautiful mountain views. The multilevel residence has a double-height foyer with a wrought-iron staircase and a motorcourt with an eight-car garage.

Steps lead to the main floor, which features a fireplace living area with built-in bookshelves and glass sliders to a patio. The gourmet kitchen has a central island, Viking appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast nook, butler’s pantry, fireplace family room, formal dining room, and office.

The residence also has a large wine cellar with tasting area and a billiards room with a wet bar. A luxurious spa-like master retreat with a jetted soaking tub, steam shower, two-way fireplace, sitting area, private balcony, dual walk-in closets, and a separate gym.

The backyard has an al fresco eating terrace with a built-in BBQ and a grotto-style pool with a Jacuzzi, waterfall, and water slide. A rooftop balcony with endless views completes everything.

Nas, 48, debuted in 1991 on Main Source’s “Live at the Barbecue.” “Illmatic” was his 1994 first album, while “It Was Written” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1996.

Nas, MTV’s “Greatest MC of All Time,” has sold over 25 miℓℓio𝚗 records and earned eight platinum albums. He’s a record producer, entrepreneur, and actor valued around $70 miℓℓio𝚗.

Alex Duk of Harcourts Beverly Hills represented Nas, while Angela Waters of Harcourts Prime Properties listed it.
