Manchester City’s latest star recruit, Erling Haaland, wasted no time in scouting potential homes by visiting the mansion of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba – an extravagant residence complete with its own indoor football pitch.
The £51.4 million striker shares the same management team as the French World Cup champion Pogba, who is parting ways with the Red Devils.
Erling Haaland, who is in search of a residence in Manchester, has taken a keen interest in Paul Pogba’s mansion.
One of the first properties the 21-year-old Norwegian explored after agreeing to join Manchester City is a luxurious £3 million estate, also available for rent at an astonishing £30,000 per month.
Situated in the upscale Hale Barns area of Cheshire, this five-bedroom abode features a gym, a heated swimming pool, and a sauna. However, the crown jewel of the property is an indoor football pitch, playfully named the P.P. Arena by the flamboyant Pogba. Complete with mini goals, an electronic scoreboard, LED lighting, and even Pogba’s logo at the center circle, this pitch is a unique feature.
The controversial 29-year-old midfielder is leaving Manchester United for the second time after letting his contract run its course.
A source revealed, “Erling is eager to settle down swiftly so that he can Һiт the ground running with City. A crucial part of that is finding a new home as soon as possible. He and Paul are acquainted and share the same management team.”
“Given Paul’s history with United, it’s unlikely he’ll return to the UK, so he’s likely to sell his house. However, he’d be open to renting it if necessary. The house offers all the amenities a top-tier footballer requires, with a touch of playful mischief courtesy of the football pitch.”
Haaland’s and Pogba’s shared management team, along with Haaland’s father Alfie – a former City player himself – explored the property, along with three other mansions, last week.
Erling Haaland, renowned for his goal-scoring prowess, has been acquired from the esteemed German club Borussia Dortmund.
As the wealthy Manchester City gains notoriety as the “noisy neighbors” of their rivals, the term could take on a new meaning, especially considering that United defenders Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly reside nearby.
The source added, “If he does move in, he could give United defenders some sleepless nights as they stroll through the neighborhood.”
