NBA player Mo Bamba is closing up any loose ends in Florida weeks after being moved from the Orlando Magic to the Los Angeles Lakers. He has listed his Orlando penthouse for $2.879 miℓℓio𝚗.
Two months after being chosen by the Magic in the 2018 NBA Draft, Mr. Bamba, 24, purchased the penthouse in downtown Orlando for around $1.7 miℓℓio𝚗 in 2018, according to property records and Erin Wanner of Stockworth Realty Group, who assisted him in the transaction.
“This penthouse is truly a one-of-a-kind, trophy residence in the Orlando market,” declared Ms. Wanner, who is now overseeing the sale. “Mo had a vision when he bought this unit, and he worked for almost two years to make that vision a reality”.
The home, which was designed by Ted Maines Interiors, has marble walls and countertops, English oak and exotic wood flooring, and custom wall coverings by Phillip Jefferies and Tom Dixon. It also has smart home technology and acoustics from companies like Crestron, Sonance, and Vicoustic.
According to the ad, the 4,800 square foot penthouse has a formal living room with a built-in sitting area, a family room with a 110-inch projector screen, a formal dining room, and a chef’s kitchen. The house went up for sale last week. According to listing records, it was previously for sale for $2.795 million in 2021.
