After his soš Shareef signed a six-figure contract to play for the NBA G League team Ignite in Henderson, the 7ā1ā³ basketball Hall of Famer and on-air NBA pundit pulled his Las Vegas area home off the market.
The estate is 4.8 miles east of Harry Reid International Airport and 4.5 miles south of the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, where Ignite performs.
The two-story gated residence, which is only a short distance from Wayne Newtonās previous mansion, is roughly 5,900 square feet large and is situated on a 1.1-acre site.
It was constructed in 1993 and has just had a more than $750,000 renovation. It features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a three-car garage.
The open-concept home has various lounging areas, a fireplace, and a formal dining room where there is a biÉ”, vividly painted portrait of the homeās owner. Italianate columns flank the double-door entrance.
On the main floor, OāNealās bedroom is accessible through a covert panel door. The area is filled with awards, framed basketball photos, and other mementos, much like the rest of the house.
A gallery-style corridor connects the recently updated guest and family bedrooms upstairs. Additionally, there is a private balcony that views out onto the backyard, which features a barbeque, putting green, brand-new pool and Ņŗot tub. A casita by the pool offers additional space for hosting events or having overnight visitors.
When the house was up for sale, Stacy Conner, vice president of the sports and entertainment division for Corcoran Global Living and Shaqās real estate agent, said it was āan extraordinary property with incredible attention to detail and appointments for a luxurious and elegant lifestyle.ā
