Usher gave up the Georgia mansion he had been fascinated with for a long time since the age of 13 for unbelievable reasons.

Usher has sold the $1.5 million mansion he purchased at the beginning of his career.

According to Realtor.com, the 39-year-old rapper received $1.1 million less for the Alpharetta, Georgia, house than he had first requested.

The U Remind Me singer claimed in a 2003 edition of How I’m Living that he had always dreamed of owning the house and that he finally bought it seven years later.

Usher, whose real nɑme is Usher Raymond IV, said on the BET program that he first visited the house when it belonged to the music producer L.A. Reid.

The Moesha actress remembers thinking at the time, “One day, I want to own a house like this.”
Over 8000 square feet of space are devoted to the home, which has seven bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms.

According to The Blast, it also has a private dance studio, a yoga studio, and a climate-controlled treehouse.  Usher described the master bedroom in a 2003 interview as “really elegant, yet very warm.”

It was broken into in late March at the musician’s $4.2 million Los Angeles house, which is up for sale. According to a Tuesday article from The Blast, thieves made off with cash and jewels valued at $820,000.

Although the estate had security cameras, the burglars also stole the tape from the inside of the cameras, making it nearly difficult to identify them. The 4,261 square foot house has a swimming pool, five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. It is perched on a hill above the Sunset Stгip.

Following Usher and his wife Grace Miguel’s separation announcement in March, the house was put on the market.
