Rapper Travis Scott owns a rare Ferrari supercar at an incredibly high price
Imagine owning a LaFerrari once driven by Travis Scott – it’s not just any LaFerrari, and it’s not just any opportunity. This exclusive 2014 Rosso Corsa model, previously in the possession of the rapper, has Һιt the market, and the asking price matches its uniqueness.
A LaFerrari, rarely available for рᴜгϲҺаꜱe, becomes an even rarer gem when linked to a celebrity owner. This standout supercar, once the prized possession of Travis Scott, has found its way to the open market, courtesy of Floyd Mayweather’s car enthusiast.
Scott’s splurge on the 2014 LaFerrari in 2019 was an open ꜱеϲгеt. However, after enjoying the supercar for a few years, he traded up for an Aperta, and the LaFerrari eventually found its way to the expert hands of Obi Okeke, known as Dr. Bugatti, a figure integral to Mayweather’s extraordinary car collection.
Recognizing the immense value due to its scarcity – one of only 499 produced – and its association with the rapper, Okeke brokered the sale to a Silicon Valley Ferrari dealership.
While Travis Scott owned the LaFerrari, its details remained shrouded in мyꜱtегy. But now that it graces the dealer’s website, more information has emerged. The Rosso Corsa Ferrari boasts a Pelle Nera Dettagli Rossi interior and has only clocked 4,403 kilometers (2,736 miles) since its inception.
At its core, the LaFerrari houses a mid-rear mounted 6.3-liter V12 engine, directly inspired by the developmental FXX model. With an astonishing 789 hp, a redline at 9,250 rpm, and a unique compression ratio of 13.5:1, this V12 powerhouse delivers a staggering 516 pound-feet of torque, available just shy of 7,000 rpm.
An innovative electric motor, sourced from Ferrari’s Formula 1 Kinetic Recovery System (KERS), is situated at the rear, injecting an additional 161 hp. This infusion significantly enhances low rpm response and acceleration. The seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle manages gear shifts, channeling power exclusively to the rear axle.
In tandem, the two power sources collaborate to produce an awe-inspiring 949 hp and 663 pound-feet of torque. Consequently, the aerodynamic LaFerrari rockets from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in an astonishing 2.4 seconds.
And now, the pivotal question: the price tag attached to this extraordinary find.
