Rick Ross makes a splash with $35.000.000 mansion on Miami’s island
Despite having a song called “I’m Not a Star,” Rick Ross is the newest inhabitant of Miami’s Star Island.
The “Hustlin” rapper, who was said to be interested in a beachfront mansion on the private island last month, finally closed on the property this week. The 40,000 square-foot mega-mansion, which is situated close to the center of the celebrity-studded and guard-gated enclave, cost a stunning $35M from Rozay. Numerous high rollers have luxurious homes here, including Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan, and millionaire Ken Griffen. It’s also amazing that the record executive was able to get himself a prized slice of the Star Island pie given that there are only 30 properties on the island.
The Jills Zeder Group’s Jill Eber, together with Jill Hertzberg, Felise Eber, and Fabio Lopes, represented the seller. “We are so excited to have a high note in finding the right buyer for this spectacular property so quickly after listing it,” she said. There is only one Star Island, and we are certain that the buyer will be overjoyed to move into his new home on the coveted island. Ross was represented by Kimberly Knausz of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty and Tawanda Roberts of Florida Realty of Miami.
According to Knausz, “He fell in love with the grand entry right away; it has a very long driveway stretching towards the mansion that gives off an air of real luxury.” The house’s architecture, which is significantly different from the typical contemporary home and which he intends to improve, also had a role.
Six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a generous 100 feet of water beachfront on Biscayne Bay are included in the 12,374 square foot home. The Maybach Music Group founder will want much more space than the two-car garage that is now available to accommodate all of his precious automobiles. Additionally, there is a 40-foot dock with an electrical and water pedestal for when he chooses to go by boat. If he hasn’t already, he could end up getting the Lamborghini boat after all.
