Exploring Lionel Messi’s £23 Million Real Estate Empire, Luxurious Paris Lifestyle, and Rumored Miami Summer Move

Lionel Messi’s remarkable success on and off the pitch has propelled him to the top, with goals, trophies, and substantial earnings flowing in.

Having secured the World Cup victory with Argentina in December, Messi has now triumphed in every major competition, including the Copa America, Champions League, La Liga, and Ligue 1.

Forbes estimates that Messi earned a staggering $130 million (approximately £108 million) in 2022 alone, primarily through his Paris Saint-Germain contract, which grants him an annual salary of $75 million (approximately £62 million). Additional income stems from bonuses, appearance fees, signing-on fees, and lucrative sponsorship deals with adidas and Pepsi.

Alongside his financial accomplishments, Messi has amassed an impressive real estate portfolio, featuring properties in Barcelona, Miami, Paris, and his hometown of Rosario.

During his tenure at Barcelona, Messi resided in a lavish mansion located just 12 miles away from the Camp Nou in the exclusive suburb of Castelldefels. The £5.5 million property boasted an indoor gym, a swimming pool, a football pitch, and a playground for his three children.

Since his move to Paris Saint-Germain, Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo have taken up residence in a two-story property situated in the prestigious area of Neuilly-Sur-Seine. While Messi rents this luxurious home, it is considered one of the finest in Paris, with an estimated monthly cost of £17,500 (€20,000).

Despite the absence of an indoor swimming pool, Messi expressed his love for the city, describing it as “magnificent” and expressing his happiness at living there with his family.

With Messi’s contract at PSG set to expire at the end of the season, rumors abound regarding his future, including a potential return to Barcelona or a surprise move to David Beckham’s Inter Miami.

Should Messi opt for a Miami adventure, he already possesses a £5 million apartment in Sunny Isles Beach. The expansive condo features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, breathtaking 360-degree views of the Miami skyline, access to six pools, a private pool, and a wine cellar capable of holding 1,000 bottles. The complex itself offers amenities such as a champagne bar, spa, fitness center, playground, and yoga studio.

While reports emerged in 2021 that Messi had put this property up for sale, he later acquired the entire ninth floor of the Regalia, a modern 39-story building located just ten blocks away from his other Miami residence, at a cost of nearly £6 million.

It is worth noting that Messi’s real estate ventures extend far beyond Miami. He recently purchased a £9.5 million mansion in Ibiza as a holiday home, adding to his existing hotel on the island. In his hometown of Rosario, Messi owns a £3 million house referred to as “The Fortress,” complete with an underground garage to house his extensive collection of supercars.

His property holdings also span Italy, with six houses in various locations, including a splendid mansion in Como Lombardy overlooking the Ceresio River. Furthermore, Messi owns the 77-room MiM Sitges hotel, hinting at his potential aspirations of becoming a real estate mogul once his playing career concludes.
