Welcome to the nice life, everyone! The gorgeous former California mansion that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian co-owned is owned by Kim Kardashian. The house is enormous and has a very distinctive look. Fortunately, Kim has frequently been generous enough to let fans see inside.

In response to a question, Kim described her house as a “minimal monastery.” For those who don’t know, a monastery is a structure where monks or nuns reside. The interior design and architecture were, of course, inspired by Kanye, as well as by Belgian designer and antiquarian Axel Vervoordt, who helped with the design.

A few months after getting married, in December 2014, the pair reportedly paid $20 million for the home. After deciding to renovate it three years later, Kris Jenner said in April 2018 that the house has a current value of $60 million. You must think that’s good.

CLEAN LIVING
Two sofas facing one other, a grand piano, and a glass wall of windows make up Kim’s roomy living room. “Everything is quite straightforward in my home. The entrepreneur said, “I find that there’s so much chaos out there in the world that when I come home, I want it to be really quiet and I want everything to feel calming,” in a house tour video for Vogue in February 2022.

PRIVATE SITTING ROOM
In her bedroom, Kim has a separate, all-white sitting area where she “likes to sit and drink tea and write letters to my kids.”

IMMACULATE KITCHEN
The kitchen at Kim’s house has a sizable central island, and the worktops are free of any utensils or other evidence that cooking is going on.

DINING SPACE
Off the kitchen, on the opposite side of a round dining table, is a sitting area with a huge sofa.

NO CLUTTER
Only a round table in the middle and few seats against the walls are there in a sizable area in between two passageways. Kim takes her “minimalist” house very seriously!

BACKYARD BASKETBALL
A full-sized basketball court was painted in black and grey to match the neutral tones of Kim’s house and is situated in her backyard, right outside of her home gym. For the sake of safeguarding her four children while they play, the surface is made of a softer, sponge-like material.

SPACIOUS WORKOUT AREA
Kim keeps in shape by working out in her enormous home gym. She occasionally receives visits from her children.

In the Vogue video, Kim called their family home “a minimal monastery” due to the tranquil, spacious interior.
