A close-up of Mayweather’s most expensive mansion makes you fall in love!
Floyd Mayweather, the renowned boxer, accumulated a staggering $800 million throughout his boxing career. Despite his financial success, Mayweather has often been described as “lonely and defeated.” However, his substantial wealth allowed him to invest in extravagant properties, such as his sprawling mansion in Los Angeles.
Built in 1992 and redesigned in 2015, Mayweather’s mansion showcases the French modern architectural style. The expansive compound consists of a main house spanning 1,402 square meters, a motel, a gym, a 20-person theater, a staff house, and a four-car garage. The property was recommended to Mayweather by Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland, a subsidiary of Christie’s International Real Estate.
Inside the villa, Mayweather has adorned it with luxurious features, including a wine cabinet capable of holding 225 bottles. Protected by sturdy tempered glass doors, the wine cabinet is a testament to Mayweather’s refined taste. The two-story main house boasts an impressive chandelier, a mirror-adorned fireplace, six bedrooms, and ten bathrooms.
Situated in a prime location near high-end shops and celebrity neighbors, Mayweather’s mansion also features a spacious kitchen staffed by professional chefs. This became Mayweather’s sanctuary and training ground before his highly anticipated match with Conor McGregor in August 2017.
Initially listed for $38 million in 2015, the mansion’s price dropped to $28.95 million before Mayweather purchased it for $25 million. He further invested $500,000 in high-end furniture, ensuring every detail of the mansion exuded luxury and sophistication.
Mayweather’s mansion also boasts a movie theater capable of accommodating 12 or more people. This provides the perfect setting for “Lonely and defeated” to reflect on his top performances. Additionally, the theater features an ample space for candy and snacks, resembling a professional cinema.
The acquisition of this extravagant mansion was facilitated by Nichelle Robinson and Barbara Robinson, along with Hilton & Hyland. Despite the perception of Mayweather’s loneliness, his opulent residence stands as a testament to his financial success and his ability to surround himself with luxury and comfort.
