On her Instagram social media page, the artist behind the hit song “I Like It” hinted at the upcoming release of her new song with a short video showing her wearing a glamorous red dress while a new melody played in the background.

This marks her latest song release after a considerable hiatus since her debut album in 2018 and her collaboration with fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion on “Bongos.”

Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus and born in 1992, is one of the most successful new-generation female hip-hop artists.

She began her music career at the age of 23 by participating in VH1’s reality music program called “Love & Hip Hop: New York,” where her powerful voice, fast-paced rap skills, and relatable lyrics quickly captured the audience’s attention.

Her debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” released in 2018, earned her the distinction of being the first female rapper to win a Grammy Award in the “Best Rap Album” category.

Not only did she achieve success with her solo album, but Cardi B’s collaboration with Maroon 5 on the song “Girls Like You” also garnered significant achievements. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for over 10 weeks and amassed more than 3 billion views on YouTube.

Cardi B was also recognized by Time magazine as one of the top 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. In addition to her music career, she serves as the creative director for Playboy magazine.
