The house is near busy Marylebone High Street. Ellie Goulding’s brick cottage on a cobblestone path off London’s Marylebone High Street is for sale.
Last week, Aston Chase offered the five-story contemporary mansion for £5.95 miℓℓio𝚗 (US$7.7 miℓℓio𝚗).
According to a brokerage news release, the recently renovated spread boasts a “unique and modern design” by London architects Stiff + Trevillion that maximizes space and light. It has a mezzanine reception area, lightwells, high ceilings, and “incredible” acoustics.
Aston Chase director and co-founder Mark Pollack stated the property “offers an exceptional sales opportunity” in the release. “The home’s modern interior and location in one of Marylebone’s most sought-after mews streets makes it a very unique offering.”
The 2,961-square-foot home has numerous living rooms, an office, a contemporary kitchen and dining area, four bedrooms, including a master suite, and a full-floor guest suite.
Property records suggest Ms. Goulding, 33, bought the home in 2017 for £6.22 miℓℓio𝚗 and may lose money on it. Brexit and high taxes have slowed London’s real estate market.
Rightmove revealed that prices in Marylebone’s City of Westminster, an affluent district, are 4.1% lower than last year. With an average sale price of £1.3 miℓℓio𝚗, the borough is second only to Kensington and Chelsea in London.
Ms. Goulding’s singles include the Grammy Award-nominated “Love Me Like You Do,” “Lights,” and her interpretation of Elton John’s “Your Song.” The singer’s representative was unavailable.
