David Beckham and Victoria purchased their first home in 2001 for £1.25 million. The couple’s initial residence was a converted warehouse known as Hollinshead House in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

They lived in this house for four years, from 2001 to 2005, before moving to their new abode. The Beckhams spent an additional £200,000 to renovate and customize the property according to their preferences. In 2012, Hollinshead House was put on sale for £2.25 million, and Hello magazine published pictures of the interior, capturing the early days of their marriage.

Their home, listed as a Grade II conservation property, featured a 10-meter indoor swimming pool surrounded by exposed brick walls, high vaulted ceilings, and underwater lighting.

Hollinshead House boasted a total of five bedrooms, each offering an impressive view. The interior design retained traditional farmhouse elements, such as vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, wooden doors, and the main bedroom with white walls and a cream-colored carpet. The furnishings included wooden bed frames and a bedside table with a mirror.

The living room served as the main gathering space for the family, featuring walls and carpets in matching cream tones. Three large cream-colored sofas adorned the living area, accompanied by a small drawer table, glass-based desk lamps, and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall for a modern touch. French-style doors opened to the garden, occupying half of the land area.
Hollinshead House also included a fully equipped gym, a large spiral staircase, and a playroom. Apart from the en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom, there were three additional family bathrooms.
Before moving in together, the celebrity couple owned a penthouse in Alderley Edge worth £317,000 in 1998. However, Hollinshead House is considered their first home after tying the knot.
Today, the Beckhams boast an impressive real estate collection, including villas in London, a country home in Cotswolds, and a residence in Miami, USA.
