In an engaging conversation with CBS Mornings’ Gayle King, JAY-Z gave us an amusing glimpse into his relationship with his daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. He spilled the beans on her transformation from being a little skeptical to seeking his fashion expertise.

With a chuckle, JAY-Z revealed, “She used to give me the side-eye, you know? But now, she’s a full-fledged fashion investigator. I’ve caught her red-handed, sneaking to me for advice on her outfit choices. She’ll approach me, all subtle-like, and ask if her sneakers or whatever she’s got on are up to par.”
