According to public documents, Fuqua and his wife, “Waiting to Exhale” actress Lela Rochon, purchased a home in 2017 for $10.8 million.
The 57-year-old Pittsburgh native has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most prolific directors, having created the music video for rapper Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” in 1995. On August 15th, his most recent work, titled “Legacy: The True Story of the LA Lakers,” will premiere on Hulu.
The highly sought-after director will also add some extras. Fuqua has signed major film and television development deals with Paramount and Netflix in the past year.
Just purchased, the Fuqua mansion boasts nine thousand square feet of airy, white oak-floored living area with soaring ceilings. Six bedrooms and nine full bathrooms are available. Large picture windows in iron frames and sliding glass doors create fluid transitions between indoors and outside.
