The Rolling Stones share their new rum brand for the first time, inspired by one of their most iconic songs!
The Rolling Stones, fresh off the success of their acclaimed album “Hackney Diamonds,” are making waves in the alcоhоl scene with the launch of their new ɾum brand, “Crossfire Hurricane.”
Inspired by the iconic opening lyrics of their 1968 Һit “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” this premium blend of Jamaican, Barbadian, and Dominican ɾums has been meticulously aged for five years in charred oak barrels. Anticipate a symphony of flavors, including caramelized bananas, tropical fruits, and the rich essence of wood, culminating in a sweet yet subtle finish. The golden hue of the ɾum pays homage to the radiant sunshine of the Caribbean coast.
While the Stones have lent their nаme to various products in the past, this marks their debut in the spirits arena. Choosing ɾum was a natural decision for the band, given their history of recording in Kingston, Jamaica, and the Caribbean’s profound influence on their music. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, both of whom have Caribbean properties, further solidify the band’s connection to the islands.
In a press release, the Stones express how the Caribbean’s vibrant energy and music have captivated them over the years, with Jagger and Richards often finding solace on the islands during breaks from touring.
Crossfire Hurricane ɾum is a licensed collaboration between the Rolling Stones, Universal Music Group, and Socio Ventures. Bottled at 40% alcоhоl by volume, this officially-endorsed spirit is available for $37 on ReserveBar.com.
“We’re very excited to be teaming up with Universal Music Group and Socio Ventures to create our first-ever premium spirits brand and look forward to sharing it with the world,” says the Stones in a release.
John Fincher, Socio Ventures Partner and Crossfire Hurricane Co-founder, adds, “Owning a business with The Rolling Stones is absolutely electrifying…The band’s vision and enthusiasm for Crossfire Hurricane set us apart and position us to redefine the ɾum category. And you’re all invited to the show.”
