NBA Star Jimmy Butler Acquires $7.45M New Residence in Miami

Miami Heat’s prominent player, Jimmy Butler, has recently made a substantial property purchase in Miami, as reported by the South Florida Business Journal. The distinguished All-Star forward invested a considerable sum of $7.45 million for his new acquisition.

In earlier reports, Butler’s pursuit of a new home was highlighted. It’s been disclosed that he sold his former Miami mansion for $7.1 million in 2021. This transaction yielded an impressive profit, considering he initially acquired the property for $4.5 million in 2019.

It’s worth noting that financial concerns are unlikely for Butler, who secured a $184 million, four-year contract extension with the Miami Heat last year.

In addition to his renewed contract, it appears that “Jimmy Buckets” has successfully secured a new abode, potentially aiming for increased privacy when off the basketball court.

The newly acquired European-inspired dwelling, marketed as having “the best location in Miami,” is one of just twelve homes nestled within the gated Stonegate community. Notably, residents of this enclave enjoy exclusive amenities such as a tennis court and a park.

Constructed in 2000, the residence boasts an expansive footprint of 6,148 square feet. This airy and spacious home encompasses six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

Within, the interior is adorned with oak hardwood floors, elegant moldings, soaring ceilings, and sophisticated designer finishes. The layout encompasses a gourmet kitchen, formal living spaces, inviting fireplaces, a library, and a well-equipped bar. A convenient three-car garage further complements the property.

Ascending to the upper level, the primary suite stands out, featuring a private family room and an office space. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a luxurious soaking tub, enhancing the retreat-like ambiance.

Beyond the interior, the nearly-acre-sized lot hosts a variety of outdoor amenities, including a refreshing pool, a built-in barbecue setup, a screened lanai, Sonos speakers, and even a charming playhouse for children.

At the age of 32, Jimmy Butler embarked on his basketball journey with the Chicago Bulls in 2011. Subsequently, he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Philadelphia 76ers before ultimately joining the Miami Heat in 2019. Notably, his contribution played a pivotal role in the Heat’s advancement to the NBA finals in 2020.
