Metallica’s James Hetfield sets his sights on the highlights of his M72 world tour for 2024

James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo discussed their objectives for 2024 and some of the highlights of the M72 world tour in the most recent edition of The Metallica Report podcast.

During the epidemic, Trujillo was studying French, and he says he would want to resume language learning and regulate his “domestic life.”

“I don’t normally give much thought to New Year’s resolutions, but after looking back on the previous year, I’m very appreciative of everything I have and everything I’ve experienced. Hetfield looks forward to 2024, saying, “As I get older, it gets harder and easier. I always really look forward to what the next year brings.” I thus always look forward to hitting the road again, performing, and meeting new and old people at the events.”

Hetfield goes on, “I guess the New Year is kind of a cleansing, and I’ve got a new goal or something.” Basically, all I’m doing is trying to keep becoming better, to be a better person, to have a better outlook on life and other people’s lives, and to just try to make as many people happy as I can.”
