Metallica Bassist’s Wife, Chloe Trujillo, Releases New Album, Mothers Of A New Nation
Mothers of a New Nation, the new album by Chloe Trujillo, the wife of Metallica bassist, is released.
Many people in my family strugglе to maintain their rhythm or even to clap in time to a song. In the meanwhile, the Trujillos are most likely sending their loved ones videos of themselves singing Christmas songs with multiple part harmonies. Would you want to show off your ability to the group?
Of course, Robert Trujillo is the most well-known Trujillo. He was the bassist for Ozzy Osbourne and Suicidаl Tendencies before joining Metallica in 2003. Recently, Tye, his son, has gained notoriety by standing in for Korn and Suicidаl. However, Chloe, Robert’s spouse and Tye’s mother, has just released her second full-length album, Mothers of a New Nation. Along with drummer Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction) and former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland, Robert and Tye are featured on the record.
About her most recent release, Chloe states:
“For years, I’ve been creating songs, but I was too shy to release the majority of them to the public. I was pushed to go outside of my comfort zone in many ways by this lockdown, and I’m thrilled to finally give birth to this album, which is centered on esoteric and contemporary topics. During my painting sessions, I channeled the lyrics and used rhythms, metal riffs, spoken phrases, peculiar melodies, and even some violin to musically include them. Lockdown occurred as soon as we started recording the drums and guitars for the album, which producer Tommy D. [Daughtery] and I had been working on before CоVID! This inspired me to set up a music area in my art studio, learn how to use a DAW, and complete the songs by myself. Since then, I’ve been making music at home every day. In addition to being thrilled to release “Mothers Of A New Nation,” I’m also thrilled about all the opportunities this newfound freedom and independence have provided me to pursue my artistic goals. More is on the way.
There is a ton of music available huge listen to already since seven of the nine songs on the album were released as singles before it was published. In terms of music, I’m feeling very ’90s alt-girl, like The Breeders, Belly, etc. Even though Chloe’s vocal delivery might be a little erratic at times, I really like her lighthearted, fun style.
