The New Face of Dior Homme Is A$AP Rocky
On the fashion front, the rapper isn’t slowing down at all.
A$AP The French fashion giant Dior Homme said on Tuesday that Rocky has been chosen as one of their new faces. Rocky has always supported the designer (he has often visited the brand’s events and exhibitions), so it should come as no surprise that Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche decided to hire the rapper for the fall 2016 season.
Along with Rocky, who the brand describes as embodying “the empowered masculinity of today’s urban dandy,” Van Assche has also cast Rod Paradot, Dylan Roques, a French model, and Kids director Larry Clark to appear in the latest campaign for the label, which was photographed by Willy Vanderperre.
The news was made one week after Jonathan Anderson said that he and Rocky collaborated on a men’s capsule collection. Rocky and Guess collaborated on a denim-heavy, ’90s-inspired project earlier this year. The Dope star obviously has a strong passion for fashion.
