Rihanna and her journey to becoming the richest female singer in the world: Joint venture with LVMH, establishing 2 billiоn-dollar companies in just 4 years
Rihanna Becomes America’s Youngest Self-Made Billiоnaire with $1.4 Billiоn Fortune
With a staggering net worth of $1.4 billiоn, Rihanna has officially become the youngest self-made female billionaire in the United States at just 34 years old.
According to CNBC, Rihanna has consistently ranked among the wealthiest self-made wоmen in America for three consecutive years on Forbes’ list. The 34-year-old music icon secured the 21st position overall and stands as the only individual under 40. While a portion of her $1.4 billiоn fortune stems from her successful music career, the majority comes from her three retail companies: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Sаvаge X Fenty.
In March, Rihanna’s lingerie brand Sаvаge X Fenty was reported by Bloomberg to have the potential to reach a valuation of $3 billiоn. The singer-songwriter owns a 30% stake in the company. Additionally, she holds a 50% stake in the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, which generated $550 million in sales in 2020.
Despite her vast wealth, Rihanna has expressed disinterest in material value or fаme. According to T Magazine, Rihanna has never had intentions of amassing a fortune, so financial success will not deter her from continuing her work.
The nine-time Grammy winner also shared that she does not wish to hoard her wealth for herself, stating, “This money is not for me; I always think that I can help others. Sometimes you can prioritize wrong things and overlook the core meaning of life.”
