If you’re interested in working with Castor “Son of James” Hetfield in a rhythm section, Bastardane is holding open auditions for bassists.

Open auditions are being held by Bastardane, a LA-based sluge-metal trio including Castor, the son of Metallica vocalist James Hetfield, on drums, to fill the position of bass player.

The group, who is originally from Savannah, Georgia, has been touring periodically in 2023 after releasing their first album, Is This Rage?, on March 12, 2022. Guitarist Ethan Sirotzki and singer Jacobious Lovebone round out the band’s lineup.
