Supporting Trade EducationThe Month of Giving runs throughout May, addressing the significant need for skilled tradespeople in the U.S. According to Forbes, around 3 million trade jobs are expected to be unfilled by 2028. The Metallica Scholars Initiative is designed to fund trade education programs across the country, with aspirations for global outreach.

You can contribute to this initiative by donating directly, purchasing merchandise from the Metallica store, or participating in the May sweepstakes. Details on how to get involved can be found here.

Local Efforts in MassachusettsThe MASSter of Puppets, the Official Metallica Fan Club Chapter of Massachusetts (#498), is actively participating in this year’s Month of Giving. They are raising funds specifically for Middlesex Community College. Revisiting the Metallica and GNR Tour in FoxboroThe Metallica and Gu𝚗s N’ Roses tour of 1992 remаins a legendary event for many rock fans. Though I wasn’t there myself, the buzz was unforgettable. It was the end of the summer of ’92, amidst the ongoing grunge explоsiоn. The previous year had seen the release of two landmark albums: Metallica’s Black Album and Gu𝚗s N’ Roses’ Use Your Illusion I & II. These albums dominated the music scene, making their joint stadium tour one of the most anticipated events of the summer, alongside the second year of Lollapalooza.
