Usher shares his thoughts about participating in the Suρer Bowl Halftime show with Rihanna: ‘She is talented and the best companion I have ever met’
Rihanna is thrilled that R&B icon Usher will be the main attraction at today’s Suρer Bowl LVIII halftime show in Las Vegas. As Usher prepares to travel the same path she took the previous year, the 2023 Suρer Bowl star claims she has no advise for him.
“Usher is a natural, a legend, and he has been doing this since he was a youngster. He is destined for that program, so I can’t offer him any advise. The millionaire Barbadian said, “He shouldn’t and he isn’t going to shake one second.”
“Usher, you got this, buddy, but everyone knows that he’s destined for this as well. “Entertainers who are built for this kind of work excite me, and he shows in Vegas that he is here to stay,” Rihanna said to E! News.
This week, a large number of celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, and others, are traveling to Las Vegas to watch the game and meet the well-known performer, who wrapped up his Vegas residency late last year. It’s anticipated that Alicia and Justin would go on stage with the vocalist of You Got It Bad.
But Usher won’t be the only performer in the 2024 Suρer Bowl halftime schedule; fans of football will also be treated to a melodious ensemble as the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers square off.
“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Suρer Bowl performance off my bucket list,” Usher said, expressing his delight. I am eager to present a presentation to the globe that will be unlike anything they have ever seen from me.
Considering the magnitude of the occasion, Usher said in a CBS “Sunday Morning” interview that playing at the Suρer Bowl has always been a goal of his, comparable to reaching the summit of the music business. Usher shared tips from JAY-Z, the Suρer Bowl’s live music entertainment strategy, in the run-up to his performance. JAY-Z advised him to respect the culture and create moments that the people will remember. Shaheem Sanchez will translate the halftime show in American Sign Language in addition to Usher’s tҺrilling presentation.
Tiësto was originally announced as the “first in-game DJ” for the Suρer Bowl, however his absence due to a family situation has been reported. This means that other musicians may perform with Usher.
Additionally, a spectacular roster of performances is promised for the pregame festivities, which will include country music legend Reba McEntire performing the national anthem for her first-ever Suρer Bowl appearance, backed by Daniel Durant’s ASL interpretations.
