Multi-talented group: Legendary rock band Metallica ‘expands its market’ by writing children’s books to promote its brand around the world
Legendary rock band Metallica has ventured into the world of children’s literature by publishing a colorful picture book titled ‘The ABCs of Metallica’, as announced on the band’s Instagram account. The book is set to Һit shelves on November 26 and will be available for purchаse online.
This vibrant book is a collaborative effort between the band and author Howie Abrams, with illustrations by Michael “Kaves” McLeer, who previously participated in Metallica’s Obey Your Master exhibition in 2012.
‘The ABCs of Metallica’ recounts the band’s history from A to Z, highlighting memorable moments throughout their extensive career in rock music, from Garage Days to Master of Puppets, and including lesser-known interesting facts about the group.
Proceeds from book sales will be donated to All Within My Hands, a charitable organization founded by Metallica, aimed at creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, combating hunger, and addressing other issues.

Metallica is currently on a tour across Europe throughout much of the summer. In September, the band will commemorate the 20th anniversary of their live performance with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra (1999), which was later released as the highly successful S&M album.
Metallica’s most recent album, their 10th in their 38-year career, is Hardwired… to Self Destruct, released in 2016, which has sold 5 million copies worldwide and received Grammy nominations.
