Texas Rangers superstars interact with young fans before the new baseball season begins

Thousands of fans enjoyed a baseball paradise at the 37th annual Texas Rangers Fan Fest held at Globe Life Field on Saturday.

The event featured on-field activities, a baseball card collection, and chances to meet players.

Around 6,000 Texas Rangers fans gathered to participate in various activities, including running the bases and a wiffle ball home run derby. They also had the opportunity to meet the Rangers’ mascot, Captain.

Fans of all ages enjoyed autograph signing sessions, photo opportunities, and Q&A sessions with star players, while Rangers’ cheerleaders welcomed attendees at the entrance.

“I’ve been a Ranger fan my whole life. I’m nearly 50 years old, so it’s been a while. It’s exciting to see them in person and to meet them,” said Jonathan Jordan.

Those involved with the Texas Rangers are hopeful that this event will energize fans ahead of opening day on March 27.

“Our team looks strong this year, and we have a good chance of making it back to the postseason. We want fans to get excited about the upcoming baseball season and be ready to support the Rangers,” said Chuck Morgan, the Rangers’ Executive Vice President of Ballpark Entertainment.
