Cardi B has become a mother once more!
The 31-year-old rapper of “I Like It” announced the happy news of her third child’s arrival on Saturday, September 7, with a carousel on Instagram on Thursday, September 12. Wearing a vibrant robe, the pleased mother is seen grinning while holding her infant in her arms in a hospital bed.

Cardi’s estranged husband Offset, from whom she filed for divorce in July, is seen holding the infant in other images and videos. The caption read, “The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖,” Cardi wrote.
Cardi and Offset, 32, are already parents to a 3-year-old son, Wave, and a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture. The joyful parents are shown in the post meeting their new baby sister while sitting with both children in the hospital room. Cardi looks adoringly at her two daughters, while Kulture even cradles her infant.
Cardi confirmed the news on Instagram in early August, revealing that she was expecting her third child. “Every ending marks a fresh start! You have given me more love, more life, and most importantly, greater strength, and for that I am incredibly thankful. Cardi captioned a couple pictures of herself exposing her belly in a red dress.
“I was reminded that I can have everything! I never have to pick between my passion, love, and life, thanks to you! I adore you so much, and I can’t wait for you to see what you encouraged me to do and what you helped me achieve.”
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she wrote in her post.
She announced her pregnancy just one day after the rapper, who had been married to Offset for six years, filed for divorce. “It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming,” a Cardi spokesman told PEOPLE in response to the revelation.
In an X Spaces discussion later in August, Cardi disclosed that she had recently been in a “freak accident” that left her momentarily “paralyzed” and nearly resulted in a pregnancy loss.
